Buchona is a slang term used in Mexican Spanish to describe a woman who flaunts wealth and luxury. She is often portrayed as someone who dresses in designer clothes, drives fancy cars, and has a lavish lifestyle.

In Mexican culture, the term buchona is associated with women who come from affluent backgrounds and actively display their wealth. These women are often seen as powerful and assertive, often commanding attention and admiration from others. They may be involved in activities such as drug trafficking or have connections to organized crime.

Example 1: “Ana always shows up to parties in her expensive outfits and flashy jewelry. She’s such a buchona!” (Here, buchona is used to describe a woman who takes pride in showcasing her wealth and expensive possessions.)

Example 2: “The new girl at school drives a fancy car and wears designer clothes. Everybody labels her as a buchona.” (In this sentence, the term buchona is used to imply that the girl displays her wealth and seems to come from a privileged background.)
