The internet slang termtakes” refers to the amount of time or effort needed to accomplish a particular task or achieve a specific outcome. It can be used to describe how much work, energy, or commitment something requires.

Example 1:
Person A: “Hey, have you seen the latest episode of that TV series?”
Person B: “Not yet. How many episodes are there?”
Person A: “There are 10 episodes in total, and each episode takes about an hour to watch.”

Example 2:
Person A: “Im thinking of starting a YouTube channel, but I’m not sure if it’s worth it.”
Person B: “It can be quite rewarding, but keep in mind that making quality videos takes a lot of time and effort.”
