Walahi is an internet slang term commonly used in Nigerian English. It is derived from the Hausa language and is equivalent to swearing upon Allah or making a solemn pledge.

Examples:

1. Walahi, I didn’t cheat on the test! I studied really hard all night.
2. This jollof rice is the best, walahi! You have to try a bite.
