Time Capsule is an internet slang term used to refer to a post or piece of content that resurfaces on social media after a long period, typically several years. It can be a photo, video, or even a text post that was once popular and relevant but has been dormant until it resurfaces and gains attention again.

Examples:

Yesterday, I came across a time capsule on Facebook from five years ago. It was a hilarious video of my friends and me attempting a dance challenge. We all had a good laugh reminiscing about that moment.
Wow, that meme just became a time capsule on Twitter after being shared again. It used to be all the rage a few years ago, and now people are sharing it like it’s brand new.
