Lady May is an internet slang term used to refer to a situation where an interaction or conversation has been stopped abruptly or cut off without any explanation or warning. It implies that someone abruptly leaves a conversation or ends it unexpectedly, typically without providing any further information or reason.

Examples:

Example 1:

Person A: Hey, did you hear about that new movie?
Person B: Yeah, I watched it last night. It was amazing!
Person A: Oh, I really wanted to know your thoughts on it. Can you tell me more about what you liked?
Person B: Sorry, gotta go. Lady May…

Example 2:

Person A: I found this interesting article on current events. Let me share the link with you.
Person B: Sure, I’d love to read it.
Person A: Here’s the link: http://example.com
Person A: Did you get a chance to read it?
Person B: Not yet, Lady May happened and I was caught up with other things.

In both examples, Person B ended the conversation abruptly by using the term “Lady May” while leaving Person A surprised or curious about their sudden departure.
