Bumps is a slang term used to refer to the act of bringing a post back to the top of a forum or discussion board by commenting on it or adding new content. This is commonly done to increase visibility or revive a conversation that has become inactive.
Example 1: Hey, can you bump my post about the charity event? I want more people to see it and hopefully participate.
Example 2: The discussion about climate change needs to be bumped. It’s an important topic that deserves more attention.
