The internet slang term “Lyin’” is a shorter version of the word “lying,” which means someone is not telling the truth or being dishonest. It is commonly used online to point out when someone is being untruthful or deceptive.

Examples:

1. Sarah claimed she won the lottery and bought a mansion, but her friends knew she was just lyin’ because she still lived in a small apartment.

2. Jake said he had met a famous celebrity, but when asked for proof, he couldn’t provide any. It was clear he was lyin’ about the whole thing.
