Proof

Proof is an internet slang term used to say that something is confirmed or supported by evidence. It is often used to show that a statement or claim is true or valid. Here are two practical examples to illustrate its usage:

Example 1:

Jenna: Did you hear that Tim won the race?
Mike: No way, I don’t believe it. Give me some proof!
Jenna: Here’s a video of Tim crossing the finish line first. That’s proof!

Example 2:

Sarah: I heard that the new smartphone has an amazing camera.
Alex: Are you sure about that? Can you show me any proof?
Sarah: Look at these sample photos taken with the phone. They speak for themselves. That’s your proof!
