Liftocracy describes a situation where people who are avid users of weightlifting or fitness dominate or have excessive influence in online discussions, particularly on social media platforms.

Examples:
1. In a fitness forum, a user asked for advice on a workout routine to improve their overall fitness. However, instead of receiving helpful suggestions, they were bombarded with overwhelming responses from liftocracy enthusiasts, all emphasizing the importance of weightlifting and dismissing any other form of exercise.

2. On Instagram, a fitness influencer shared a post about the benefits of yoga for mental health. Unfortunately, the comments section quickly turned into a liftocracy debate, with individuals arguing that weightlifting is the only true way to achieve mental wellness and any other practice is insignificant.
