Cookout is an internet slang term used to refer to a situation where a person’s inappropriate or embarrassing behavior is exposed or called out. It is often used in a humorous manner to mock or criticize someone for their actions or statements.

Examples:

1. John thought he was being clever by spreading false rumors about his colleagues, but he didn’t realize that social media doesn’t keep secrets. Soon enough, the entire office had a virtual cookout, sharing screenshots of his messages and calling him out for his deceitful behavior.

2. When a popular celebrity posted a tweet with a grammatical error, their fans wasted no time in organizing a massive cookout. Memes, jokes, and hilarious comments flooded the tweet, reminding the celebrity of their mistake and making sure everyone knew about it.
