WIP

WIP stands for “Work in Progress.” It is an internet slang term/abbreviation used to describe something that is still being worked on or is not yet completed. It is often used to refer to ongoing projects, creative works, or any task that is currently in development.

Examples:

John: Hey, what are you up to?

Sara: I’m working on a WIP for my art class. It’s a painting of a beautiful landscape.

2.

Michael: Is the new website design ready?

Emily: Not yet, it’s still a WIP. We are finalizing the layout and adding some finishing touches.
