A whistle-blower is someone who exposes secret or confidential information, particularly misconduct or illegal activities, often in an organization or government.

Examples:

After witnessing the company’s unethical practices, Sarah decided to become a whistle-blower and report the wrongdoing to the authorities.
The anonymous whistle-blower leaked classified documents to the media, revealing the government’s involvement in the corruption scandal.
