The internet slang term “Wave Check” refers to a situation where someone showcases their hairstyle, usually related to wavy or curly hair, for others to assess and admire. It is commonly used to show off and receive compliments or comments on the quality and appearance of someone’s waves.

Examples:
1. If someone posts a picture on social media showing their styled and well-defined waves, their caption might say: “Time for a wave check! 💪🌊 How are my curls looking today?” Here, the person is inviting others to evaluate and appreciate their hairstyle while seeking positive feedback.

2. In an online haircare community, someone might comment on a post about maintaining waves by saying: “I’ve been following your advice, and my wave check is on point now! Thank you all for the tips! 💯🙌” Here, “wave check” is used to indicate that the person’s hair texture and style have improved, based on the guidance received from the community.
