Uptalk refers to a specific speech pattern where the speaker ends their sentences with a rising intonation, making a statement sound like a question. This way of talking can make it seem like the speaker is seeking validation or unsure about what they are saying.

Examples:
1. I just watched this amazing movie last night? It had such great special effects?
2. I think I aced the test today? I studied really hard for it?
