TMI

TMI stands for “Too Much Information.” It is used to express the feeling of being overwhelmed or uncomfortable by the excessive amount of personal or private details shared in a conversation or online interaction.

Example 1:

Person A: “I can’t believe I just ate three whole pizzas by myself. Now I feel so stuffed and my stomach is aching!”
Person B: “TMI, dude. We didn’t need to know about your pizza binge.”

Example 2:

Person A: “I just had the worst breakup ever. My ex cheated on me with my best friend, and now I can’t stop crying.”
Person B: “Okay, TMI. Maybe you should talk to a close friend about this instead of broadcasting it to everyone.”
