Throwing Shade: To indirectly criticize or mock someone, usually through sarcastic or witty remarks.

Examples:

1. Jenny: Did you see Sarah’s outfit? She always thinks she’s a fashionista.
Maria: Yeah, she definitely has her own unique style.
Jenny: That’s one way to put it, you’re really throwing shade.

2. Matt: Did you finish reading John’s report? It was full of errors.
Lisa: I mean, he did his best, but it might need some revisions.
Matt: Revisions? You’re being subtle with that shade, aren’t you?
