Throw Shade means to make disrespectful or mocking comments or gestures towards someone, usually in a subtle or indirect way.

Examples:

1. Sally: Did you see the outfit Amy wore to the party last night? It looked like she got dressed in the dark.
Lisa: Yeah, Sally definitely threw shade at Amy’s fashion choices.

2. John: I heard that Sarah failed her math test again. She’s never going to pass that class.
Tom: Wow, John, no need to throw shade at Sarah. Everyone has their struggles.
