The internet slang termThis You?is used to question someones behavior or statements by pointing out their hypocrisy or inconsistency. It is often used when someone’s actions contradict something they previously said or when they are behaving in a way that goes against their own beliefs or standards.

Examples:

1. Person A: How can people spend so much money on luxury goods? Waste of money!
Person A on social media: Just bought this new expensive designer bag! #TreatYourself
Person B: This You? 🧐

In this example, Person B uses the phrase “This You?” to point out Person A’s hypocrisy. Person A criticized others for spending money on luxury items, but they themselves just purchased an expensive designer bag.

2. Person A: People who cheat in relationships have no morals and don’t deserve trust!
Person A having an affair: It’s just a little fun on the side, no big deal!
Person B: This You? 🤨

In this case, Person B uses “This You?” to highlight Person A’s inconsistency. Person A claims to condemn cheating, yet they are engaged in an affair themselves.
