TBC is an internet slang term that stands for “To Be Continued.” It is used to indicate that a story, discussion, or any ongoing narrative will be continued or completed at a later time. Here are two practical examples of TBC usage:

Example 1:

  • Person A: “So, last night I was watching my favorite TV show, and the main character finally revealed a big secret about his past.”
  • Person B: “What was the secret? Don’t leave me hanging!”
  • Person A: “Sorry, TBC! I’ll tell you the whole story tomorrow.”

Example 2:

  • Person A: “I recently started reading this amazing book series, and the second book has left me on a major cliffhanger!”
  • Person B: “Oh no, what happened?”
  • Person A: “I don’t want to spoil it, but there’s a shocking plot twist at the end. TBC in book three!”
