A stakeout is when someone continuously monitors or watches a particular person or place, usually without their knowledge, especially online. This term is commonly used in internet slang to refer to observing someone’s activities, usually for information or entertainment purposes.

– Example 1: Wow, I’ve been on a stakeout on Sarah’s Instagram for hours! I just can’t stop scrolling through all her vacation pictures.
– Example 2: My friend asked me to do a stakeout on his crush’s Twitter account to see if she’s seeing someone new. I’m supposed to report back any suspicious activity.
