Examples:
1. Poor Emma fell for John’s set-up during their office party. He asked her to dance and purposely spilled his drink on her, making her the center of attention, causing everyone to laugh at her expense.
2. Sarah thought she won a free vacation through an online contest. However, it turned out to be a set-up when she received an email asking for personal information and a payment to secure her prize. She realized she had been scammed.
