The internet slang term “run out of time” means to not have enough time to complete or finish a task or activity.

Examples:

1. In an online gaming chat:

Player1: Sorry guys, I need to log off. I’m running out of time.
Player2: No worries, catch you later!

2. In a work email:

Hi team, please submit your reports by tomorrow morning. We can’t afford to run out of time on this project.
Remember to manage your schedule efficiently to avoid any delays.
