Run-of-the-mill means something that is ordinary, common, or average. It refers to things, people, or situations that are not exceptional or special.

Examples:

1. The horror movie we watched last night was just run-of-the-mill. It had the same predictable plot, jump scares, and characters we’ve seen before.
2. The sandwich I had for lunch was quite run-of-the-mill. It consisted of basic ingredients like ham, lettuce, and cheese, but nothing stood out to make it unique or memorable.
