RTFM is slang forRead the F***ing Manual.” It is used to tell someone to refer to the instructions or user manual rather than asking for help or explanations.

RTFM is an acronym often used in online communities or forums when someone asks a question that could easily be answered by reading the instructions or documentation provided. It implies that the person asking the question should make an effort to find the information themselves before turning to others for assistance.

Example 1: “Instead of asking how to set up the printer, why don’t you just RTFM?”
Example 2: “I can’t believe he asked what the error message meant without even bothering to RTFM.”
