Roadie is an internet slang term used to describe someone who is overly invested in the personal affairs or romantic relationships of a celebrity or public figure. They often keep themselves updated on every aspect of their favorite celebrity’s life, and may even go to great lengths to defend or support them online.
Examples:
1. Emma is such a roadie. She knows every detail about her favorite singer’s life, from their dating history to their favorite restaurants. She spends hours online, following fan accounts and defending the singer against any criticism.
2. Jake has turned into a roadie for this famous actor. He tracks the actor’s whereabouts, frequently visits forums discussing their work, and even has a fan page dedicated to them. Whenever someone brings up negative comments about the actor, Jake jumps in to defend their talent and actions.
