Reticulating Splines

Reticulating Splines is a humorous internet slang term often used when a computer or video game appears to be busy or loading something. It basically means that the software is performing some background calculations or processes.

Examples:
1. After clicking on the “Start Game” button, the screen showed a message saying “Reticulating Splines,” indicating that the game was loading and preparing everything for me to play.
2. I tried to open a heavy application on my computer, and it took a while to load. To keep myself entertained, I stared at the loading screen that teasingly displayed “Reticulating Splines” as though the software engineers were engaging in some secretive task.
