Rehab is an internet slang term used to refer to taking a break or temporarily disconnecting from something. It could mean reducing or stopping one’s usage of social media, gaming, or a particular activity that someone feels addicted to. People often use this term when they want to take a step back and refocus on other aspects of their life.

Examples:

1. I’ve been spending way too much time on my phone lately, so I think it’s time for a social media rehab. I’m going to deactivate all my accounts for a month and use that time to read books and spend quality time with my family.

2. My schedule has been overwhelmingly packed with work and studies, so I need a gaming rehab. I’m going to uninstall all my games and take a break for a while to prioritize my responsibilities and regain some balance in my life.
