In internet slang, the term “ranch” is used to refer to someone who is acting in a deceptive or dishonest manner. It is commonly used to describe someone who exaggerates or fabricates details about themselves or their achievements online.

Examples:

1. Sarah claimed that she had won a prestigious writing award, but her friends found out that she had simply made it up. They started calling her ranch because of her habit of lying about her accomplishments.

2. The new student in class introduced himself as an expert gamer who had competed in several international tournaments. However, his classmates soon discovered that he was just ranch, as he couldn’t even finish simple gaming challenges.
