Ramp Up: To increase the intensity, speed, or volume of something. It is often used to describe the process of gradually or quickly increasing an activity or effort.

Examples:

1. Samantha wanted to ramp up her studying for the upcoming exam, so she decided to study for an extra two hours every night.

2. The company needed to ramp up its production to meet the high demand for their new product, so they hired additional workers and extended their working hours.
