A pyramid scheme is when a company or organization promises people easy money or rewards, but the real way to make money is by recruiting more people into the scheme. It’s like a never-ending chain where the people at the top benefit the most, and those at the bottom struggle to make any money.
Examples:
1. My friend fell for a pyramid scheme where she was told she could make a lot of money by selling a new product. However, after investing a lot of her savings, she realized that the only way to make real money was by bringing in more people to join under her.
2. I received a message on social media, inviting me to join an amazing opportunity that promised quick cash. However, when I researched further, I discovered that it was just another pyramid scheme. They were using fancy words to hide the fact that it was all about recruiting others to make any profit.
