Punt: In internet slang, “punt” means to give up or avoid dealing with a difficult or challenging situation. It is often used when someone decides not to continue a discussion or to abandon a project due to frustration or lack of progress.

Examples:
1. When discussing politics online, if someone brings up a controversial topic that you don’t want to get into, you might choose to punt the conversation by changing the subject or ignoring their comment altogether.

2. Imagine you are working on a group project, and one team member is not contributing their share of the work. After several attempts to include them, you decide to punt and take on their tasks to ensure the project’s completion.
