Prowler is an internet slang term used to refer to someone who secretly lurks or stalks other users online without their knowledge or consent. This term is often associated with individuals who observe or follow others’ activities on various online platforms without actively engaging or participating in conversations.

Example 1: Sarah noticed that her ex-boyfriend had been silently scrolling through her social media profiles for weeks, liking old posts and viewing her stories. Frustrated, she confronted him, saying, “Stop being such a prowler and respect my privacy!”

Example 2: In an online gaming community, Mark noticed a user with an anonymous profile who would constantly spectate his matches but never participate or interact with others. Mark suspected this person to be a prowler, silently observing his gameplay without any active involvement.
