Ponzification is an internet slang term used to describe the transformation of something or someone into a Ponzi scheme. It refers to the act of turning a legitimate business, project, or idea into a fraudulent scheme that relies on new investments to pay off existing participants.

Example 1:
John’s investment opportunity seemed promising at first, but it quickly turned into ponzification. Instead of using the funds to grow the business, he used new investors’ money to pay off earlier investors, indicating a Ponzi scheme.

Example 2:
The online platform claimed to offer high returns on investments, but it turned out to be an elaborate ponzification. As more people joined and invested, the perpetrator used their money to pay off the earlier participants, deceiving them into thinking their returns were genuine.
