Example 1: I had a really bad day at work today. It was just one pit after another. First, I spilled coffee on my shirt, then I got stuck in traffic for hours, and finally, my computer crashed right before an important deadline. It felt like everything was going wrong.
Example 2: I started watching a new TV show, but after a few episodes, it became a pit. The plot was confusing, the acting was terrible, and the jokes just weren’t funny. I couldn’t bear to watch it anymore and had to switch to something else.
