Pete’s Sake is an internet slang term used to express surprise, frustration, or annoyance. It is a euphemism for the phrase “for God’s sake” or “for goodness sake.” People use this term to convey their emotions in a less offensive or blasphemous manner.

Examples:

When your friend cancels on you at the last minute, and you had everything planned, you might text them saying, “I can’t believe you bailed again, Pete’s Sake! We were supposed to hang out!”

Imagine you’re reading a social media post from someone complaining about their noisy neighbors. You might comment, “How can they be so inconsiderate, Pete’s Sake? Get some earplugs or something!”
