PEBCAK stands for “Problem Exists Between Chair and Keyboard.” It is commonly used in internet slang to describe a situation where a problem arises due to the user’s own mistake or lack of understanding, rather than any technical issue.

Examples:

1. I couldn’t access my email for hours, but it turned out to be PEBCAK. I had accidentally entered the wrong password.

2. The customer support representative tried to assist the user, but the issue persisted. Finally, the support agent realized it was a PEBCAK situation when they discovered the user hadn’t plugged in their device.
