Pay-to-win means that a player can gain an advantage in a game by spending real money to purchase items or upgrades.

1. The new mobile game I downloaded is fun, but it’s completely pay-to-win. I keep getting beaten by players who have paid for better weapons and armor.

2. I’m not a fan of pay-to-win games because it feels like those with more money can always win, even if they don’t have any real skill. It’s frustrating and unfair to free players.
