Patsy is an internet slang term that refers to someone who is easily tricked or manipulated into taking the blame for something they didn’t do. They are often portrayed as a scapegoat or a fall guy for others to avoid responsibility.

Examples:

– John was framed by his co-workers to be the patsy for the office prank. Even though he had nothing to do with it, everyone believed he was behind it.

– The politician used his intern as a patsy to cover up his mistakes. He made her take the blame for the scandal, while he avoided any consequences.
