Mot

In internet slang, “Mot” is short for “Moment.” It is used to request someone to wait momentarily or to hold on for a brief period of time.

Examples:

1. Person A: Hey, I need to quickly grab something from the kitchen.
Person B: Sure, mot.

2. Customer: Excuse me, could you please check if this item is still available in the store?
Shopkeeper: Mot, I’ll go and check for you.
