Monologuing, in internet slang, refers to a situation where a person talks excessively about a particular topic without allowing others to participate or express their opinions. It typically implies a one-sided conversation where someone dominates the discussion without giving others a chance to contribute.

Examples:

1. Person A starts monologuing during a group online gaming session, constantly explaining every aspect of the game in great detail without letting others speak or ask questions. The other players feel frustrated and bored, as they are unable to engage in the conversation and enjoy the game together.

2. In an online forum discussion about a popular TV show, Person A keeps monologuing about their theories and predictions, ignoring the comments and ideas shared by other users. The forum participants, who wanted to have a lively discussion, feel discouraged and disengaged as Person A monopolizes the conversation.
