Microaggression refers to subtle, unintentional acts or comments that convey derogatory or discriminatory messages towards marginalized groups. It involves actions or statements that might seem harmless on the surface but actually perpetuate stereotypes, inequality, or exclusion.

Examples:

1. In a group chat:

Person A: “Wow, youre really smart for a girl!”
Person B: “That’s a microaggression. It implies that girls are generally less intelligent.”

2. During a casual conversation:

Person A: “You don’t look gay. Are you sure?”
Person B: “That’s a microaggression. It suggests that there is a specific way that gay individuals should appear.”
