The internet slang termMake it or break it” is used to describe a situation that will either lead to great success or complete failure. It implies that there is no middle ground or room for mediocre results.

Examples:

1. With her final performance on the singing competition show tonight, it’s make it or break it for Sarah. If she impresses the judges, she might win the competition and kickstart her music career. However, if she fails to impress them, it could potentially be the end of her dreams.

2. The new smartphone release by XYZ company is going to be make it or break it for their reputation in the market. If the phone offers innovative features and superior performance, it could become a game-changer and propel the company’s success. On the other hand, if the phone disappoints consumers with its flaws or fails to meet expectations, it may result in the company losing its market position.
