K-Sel is an internet slang term used to describe someone who is obsessed or overly enthusiastic about a particular topic, often to the point of being annoying or obnoxious. The term is derived from the word “keisatsu” in Japanese, which means policeman, but in this context, it refers to someone who constantly polices or lectures others about their interests.

Examples:

A: Did you see that new superhero movie? It was amazing!
B: Yeah, but John won’t stop talking about it. He’s such a K-Sel, always trying to correct everyone on every detail.

A: I just started playing that new online game. It’s so fun!
B: Be careful if you mention it around Sarah, she’ll go full K-Sel mode and bombard you with a list of strategies and tips.
