IBF

IBF stands for Internet Best Friend. It is a slang term used to refer to someone you consider your closest friend online. They are like a best friend, but you have formed the bond solely through online interactions.

Example 1:

I met my IBF on a gaming forum two years ago. We chat every day, share our interests, and support each other through tough times. They have become an important part of my life, even though we have never met in person.

Example 2:
