Gone head is a slang term that is commonly used in African American Vernacular English (AAVE). It is a contraction of the phrase “go on ahead.” It is used as a command or permission to someone, urging them to proceed or continue with what they were doing or saying.
Example 1: “You wanna leave the party early? Gone head, I’ll catch up with you later.”
Example 2: “I’m really feeling this song, can I sing along?” “Gone head, let it out, girl!”
In both examples, “gone head” is used to encourage or grant permission to someone to go ahead with their desired action.
