A “go-getter” is slang for someone who is ambitious and determined to succeed. This person takes initiative, seizes opportunities, and is not afraid to work hard to achieve their goals.
A go-getter is an individual with a proactive attitude and strong motivation to accomplish their objectives. They are not content with simply waiting for opportunities to come their way but actively seek them out. This term is often used to describe individuals who are enterprising, self-driven, and have a strong work ethic.
Example 1: Samantha is a true go-getter. She always volunteers to take on new projects at work and constantly looks for ways to advance in her career.
Example 2: Mark’s always been a go-getter. He started his own business while still studying and now runs a successful company.
