GMTA

GMTA stands for “Great Minds Think Alike.” It is an internet slang term used to express agreement or the same line of thinking with someone else. It implies that two or more individuals share similar thoughts, ideas, or solutions.

Examples:

Example 1:

• Person A: “I was just about to suggest we go get ice cream!”
• Person B: “GMTA! I was craving ice cream too.”

In this example, Person B uses GMTA to indicate that they had the same idea as Person A to go get ice cream. It shows that they both had a similar thought at the same time.

Example 2:

• Person B: “Absolutely! GMTA. I couldn’t agree more.”

In this instance, Person B uses GMTA to convey that they have the same perspective as Person A regarding the importance of hard work and focus in achieving success.
