Glazing is an internet slang term used to describe the act of ignoring someone’s message on purpose, usually without providing any kind of response. It refers to the action of reading a message but choosing not to respond to it. This can be done intentionally or unintentionally, but the term specifically applies to when someone is aware of the message but decides not to acknowledge it.
Examples:
1.
– Person A: “Hey, did you see the pictures I sent?”
– Person B: *glazing*
2.
– Person A: “I really need your help with this assignment. Can you please take a look?”
– Person B: *glazing*
In both examples, Person B is intentionally ignoring Person A’s message, leaving them without a response or acknowledgement.
