Gentrify

Gentrify is an internet slang term used to describe the process of making changes to a neighborhood or area to cater to higher-income residents, usually resulting in the displacement of lower-income residents. It refers to the transformation of a previously less affluent or culturally diverse area into a more upscale and trendy one.

Examples:
