Gassed Up means to hype someone up or exaggerate something, often with the intention of making them feel confident or overly excited.

Examples:
1. If your friend tells you he’s going to beat everyone in a video game tournament and you respond, “Don’t get too gassed up, man. It’s a tough competition!” Here, “gassed up” is used to caution your friend about being overconfident.
2. Imagine someone flaunting their new car and saying, “My ride is the fastest in town, no one can catch up!” If you reply, “Okay, don’t get gassed up now. There are plenty of faster cars out there,” you’re using “gassed up” to imply that they are exaggerating the abilities of their car.
